About the artist

Photographic artist and layout designer, Susan Bryg, creates timeless portraits and celebrates 'real life' with photography. It is her mission to help families celebrate the uniqueness of the love, relationships, and their lives together.

Bryg has a background in the fine arts and has earned degrees in art and early childhood education from UT Knoxville. This formal education is reflected in her love for children, her eye for detail, sense of balance and composition, and her ability to capture the nuances of emotion and personality that reflect your true spirit.

As an active member of the Professional Photographers of America, Georgia Professional Photographers Association and numerous other professional photography associations, Susan has actively sought out the very best photographers in the nation for her continuing photographic education.

She has studied all aspects of lighting and professional imagery directly from such industry legends as Deborah and Rick Ferro, Frank Donnino, Gregory Daniel, Beverly and Tim Walden, Lori Nordstrom, Tony Corbell, Kevin Newsome, Carol Andrews, Dennis Reggie, Sarah Petty, Sam Puc, Doug Box, and David Smith.

If you are not a professional photographer, these names won't mean much to you, but these individuals represent the very best in professional photography in North America.

What that means is that your portrait session will become the time for a timeless work of art; a way for you to provide a blessing for the generations that will come after you.

Ms. Susan, as she is known to the many children that come to play at her studio, is happily married to Ed, a kind and gentle man. They are parents of two adult daughters, Sarah Beth and Amy. Sarah Beth is a professional violinist and Amy is a critical care nurse at DeKalb General in the metro Atlanta area.
